In the third game of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague play-off series, Turkish team Anadolu Efes hosted Panathinaikos under Ergin Ataman at Sinan Erdem Sports Hall. Returning to Istanbul with a 1-1 tie in the series, the navy-and-whites couldn't get the upper hand in this critical home game despite coming from behind in the final period and lost 77-81. With this result, Panathinaikos leads the series 2-1, while the team with three wins will advance to the Final Four and will be paired with Turkish team Fenerbahce Beko.

FIRST HALF

Anadolu Efes started the game with a strong start and had an up-tempo offense. The navy-and-white team maintained its scoring advantage throughout the first quarter and finished the period 23-20 ahead.

In the second quarter, Panathinaikos started to dominate the game. Increasing its three-point shooting percentage, the Greek team reduced Efes' offensive rhythm and went into the break with a 45-39 lead.

Panathinaikos continued to play effectively in the third period. Anadolu Efes tried to close the gap from time to time but faltered on defense. The guest team finished the quarter with a 63-54 lead.FULL TIMEIn the last period, Anadolu Efes was about to make a great comeback.
