Arroyo, who was added to the black-and-white team's roster during the mid-season transfer window last season, did not get much playing time and was sold to Brazilian club Cruzeiro three months ago for a transfer fee of 8 million euros.

Arroyo played in a total of 14 official matches for Beşiktaş. The young footballer managed to score twice in those matches.

‘A WRONG STEP’

Speaking to Diario Expreso, Kenny Arroyo said the following about Beşiktaş:

I don't regret going to Beşiktaş, but I think it was a wrong step in a way. A footballer's job is to perform on the pitch, and I wasn't given the opportunity.

When asked, “Wasn't there a good relationship between you and head coach Gunnar Solskjær?” Arroyo replied, “I also had some issues with the head coach; he said I was undisciplined, but that wasn't true. Still, I took the positive aspects: I experienced European intensity, scored goals, and was able to provide a better life for my family.”
