Everton Ribeiro posted the following statement on his social media account: "Hello friends! About a month ago I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer. Today I had surgery and thank God everything went well. I am still recovering thanks to the faith and support of you and my family. Thank you for your prayers and concern. Your support is incredibly important. I believe that together we will win this battle."
