Premier League clubs Burnley and Crystal Palace are also actively pursuing the defensive midfielder, adding significant competition for Beşiktaş. Furthermore, Ipswich Town, where Cajuste impressed on loan last season despite their relegation from the Premier League, has maintained a keen interest in bringing him back this summer. Ipswich had an obligation to buy Cajuste if they had remained in the top flight, highlighting his value to their squad.

During his loan spell at Ipswich last season, Cajuste made 33 appearances, scoring one goal and providing one assist. He had joined Ipswich despite interest from Brentford, showcasing his preference for regular playing time.

Who is Cajuste?

Born on August 10, 1999, in Gothenburg, Sweden, to an American father and a Swedish mother, Cajuste began his professional career at Örgryte. At 18, he moved to Danish side Midtjylland, where he spent four years. His talent then took him to French club Reims in 2022 for a €10 million transfer fee, followed by a move to Napoli for €11.5 million just 1.5 years later.
