Arsenal Football Club has officially revealed its brand new home kit for the upcoming 2025/26 season. The iconic red and white strip, developed in collaboration with sportswear partner Adidas, is designed to explore the concept described as the "heart of Arsenal." The creative inspiration behind the design uses the idea of the "human heart as a creative device to take supporters on a journey to the source of life behind the badge." Key visual elements of the shirt include the incorporation of the gothic 'A' from the club's classic 'Victoria Concordia Crescit' crest, originally used in 1949, which is woven into the design of the red and white fabric.

This distinctive 'A' also appears on the front of the accompanying red socks. The shorts that complete the kit are all-white with red detailing. The new goalkeeper kit for the season is yellow with red trim, paired with yellow shorts and socks featuring red details as well.

To mark the unveiling, Arsenal released a special launch film. The film features players from both the men's and women's first teams, alongside young individuals involved in the club’s local community programmes, tying into Arsenal in the Community's 40th birthday celebration this year. The film's concept aims to "redefine the concept of home as a feeling shared by Arsenal supporters globally" and incorporates the sounds of the players' actual heartbeats, revealing their internal monologues.

Players involved shared their positive reactions to the new design. Arsenal defender Myles Lewis-Skelly commented on the feel of the kit, stating, "I love our new kit, it looks fresh - I'm excited to wear this in front of our incredible supporters. Their energy lifts us and when we step out in the shirt, we feel it more than ever." Arsenal Women's captain Kim Little also highlighted the connection to the fanbase, saying, "Supporters are at the heart of everything we do, and this new kit connects to that so deeply. We carry our supporters with us, and they carry us with them, no matter where they are. They push us forward.”

Fans will get their first opportunity to see the new kit in match action this weekend. Arsenal is set to debut the strip on Sunday afternoon when they host Newcastle United at the Emirates Stadium. This upcoming match represents the club's penultimate game of the Premier League season and their final fixture at home. The new home kit is available for supporters to purchase now. (Arsenal Women have concluded their domestic campaign but are preparing for the Champions League final against Barcelona on May 24th in Lisbon).

The launch of the new heart-inspired home kit emphasizes the club's connection with its supporters and is set to feature in a significant final home game of the season.
