In the NBA, James Harden moved up to 10th place on the list of all-time leading scorers with 34 points in the Los Angeles Clippers' 109-106 loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves. In the other game of the night, the Houston Rockets lost to the Dallas Mavericks 122-109 in a game in which Alperen Sengun did not play.
Hosting the Clippers at Target Center, the Timberwolves won their 5th straight and 15th win this season with 27 points from Jaden McDaniels and 24 from Julius Randle.

Anthony Davis, Brandon Williams and Cooper Flagg contributed to the Mavericks' 9th win of the season with 29, 20 and 19 points, respectively.
Kevin Durant scored 27 points and Jabari Smith Jr. 22 for the Rockets in a game in which national basketball player Alperen Sengun did not play due to illness.
