Vaclav Jurecka: 'We can beat Fenerbahce'

Vaclav Jurecka, the Czech footballer of Çaykur Rizespor, who will host Fenerbahçe in the 13th week of the Trendyol Super League on Sunday, November 23, asked the fans to show interest in the match and said, "Let's make a nice atmosphere and win this match together."

Before the training session at Mehmet Cengiz Facilities, Jurecka told press members that although they started the season well, they had periods of poor performance.

Stating that he is still getting used to the Super League, Jurecka said, "The football conditions were different in the country I came from. Of course, I tried to do my best in my first year. As you know, I had an injury, so I couldn't put my 100 percent on the field."

Jurecka emphasized that this season is different for him and said, "Because I can find more space in the field, in the playing areas. I think I am playing good matches now. Of course, I can score more goals, I believe in that. We want to get better this season and help my team with both assists and goals and be successful."

Reminding that they will play their first match against Fenerbahçe after the national break, Jurecka continued as follows:

"Our first match after the national break will be at home against Fenerbahçe. We had a really good performance against Trabzonspor here, I want to say that we definitely outplayed them in terms of performance, but in terms of the score we almost could have won the game, but that didn't happen. I believe that if we have the same performance this weekend and we are 100 percent focused, we will get points from this match."

Jurecka pointed out that it doesn't matter who scores goals in matches and said, "The important thing is that we win as a team. The same goes for Ali Sowe. We had many opportunities to score. We will continue to work and try to turn them in our favor."

Stating that they want to feel the support of the fans in every match, Vaclav Jurecka said: "We are doing everything we can for their happiness. We want to achieve success and make them happy.
