The Football Manager game, which was not offered for sale in the 2025 season due to the improvements made to the game, will take its place on the shelves this season.

In the statement made by Sports Interactive, the producer of the game, it was stated that Football Manager 2026 will be presented to game lovers with new visual improvements and in-game innovations.

RELEASE DATE AND PRICE

Currently available for pre-order for PC and Mac, Football Manager 2026 will be added to the Xbox Game Pass library from day one. For console platforms, it will be available for pre-order in October. FM 26 Mobile, unlike other platforms, will not be developed with the Unity game engine and will be included in the Netflix Games library. Nintendo Switch owners will also meet FM 26 Touch on December 4th. New details are likely to be announced in the coming months, perhaps even at the Tokyo Game Show.

NEW FEATURES IN THE GAME

Perhaps the most intimidating part of the series for new players has been eliminated with the portal placement. The portal, which we can call the main hub of the game, and the seemingly simple but layered menu interfaces look simple and elegant.

SEARCH BAR MADE EASIER

The search bar has also been tweaked to make things a bit easier. Previously you could only search for countries, people and organizations, i.e. specific countries, players and clubs. So if you search for any term related to soccer or parts of the game, such as training, you'll see related messages, news entries and guides.

You can even favorite the menus you want and access them through the portal in a much shorter time. With this add-on, it seems to be very easy to reduce the already fast switching between menus to shorter times and save time.

New positions, women's football, a new match engine and improved visuals for FM 25 are also included in Football Manager 2026. You can also easily transfer your recording files from FM 23 and 24.
