Tedesco analyzes derby!

Both teams started the match played at Chobani Stadium with a controlled start. Neither team had any dangerous chances in the first 25 minutes. Galatasaray took a 1-0 lead in the 27th minute when Sane's shot hit Jayden Oosterwolde in the defense and the first half ended with this score.

Here are Fenerbahce coach Tedesco's statements after the Galatasaray derby;

"We did many things well. In the first half we wanted to start the game simple. In the Beşiktaş game we tried to play too much with the ball and we went 2-0 down. Today we wanted to play simple for the first 10-15 minutes. We wanted Galatasaray to defend long balls. We wanted to show a fierce press at the beginning of the match. We started well but we fell behind 1-0 due to individual play and Sane's contribution. These things happen in this kind of matches with this kind of players. I think we controlled the game at the end of the first half and the whole second half."

"We are playing against Galatasaray. It's not a joke team. I don't think they controlled the game during this period, we did our best. Sometimes you control the game, sometimes you don't."
