Surprise transfer from Fenerbahce! Officially announced

Fenerbahçe Beko Men's Basketball Team added US point guard Talen Horton-Tucker to its roster. In the statement made by the yellow-lacivertli club, it was announced that the 24-year-old basketball player has reached an agreement for 2 years.

CAREERBorn on November 25, 2000 in Chicago, Talen Horton-Tucker started his basketball career with Iowa State in 2018.In his first collegiate season, Horton-Tucker started 34 of 35 games in the starting lineup, averaging 11.8 points, 4.9 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.3 steals while scoring in double figures in 19 games and scoring over 20 points in six contests.In the summer of 2019, Talen decided to enter the NBA Draft and was selected 46th overall by the Orlando Magic before being traded to the Los Angeles Lakers.He spent the 2019-20 season with the NBA's Los Angeles Lakers and the G-League's South Bay Lakers, averaging 18.1 points, 6.3 rebounds and 3.9 assists in 38 games in the G-League and 5.7 points, 1.2 rebounds and 1 assist in 6 games in the NBA. Horton-Tucker also won an NBA championship for the Lakers this season.In the 2020-21 season, Horton-Tucker played 65 games in the NBA for the Los Angeles Lakers and averaged 9.0 points, 2.6 rebounds and 2.8 assists. In the 2021-22 season, he played 60 games for the Lakers and averaged 10.0 points, 3.2 rebounds and 2.7 assists.

After a successful stint with the Lakers, Horton-Tucker moved to the Utah Jazz in the 2022-23 season, where he played in 65 games and averaged 10.7 points, 3.2 rebounds and 3.8 assists. In the 2023-24 season, Horton-Tucker played 51 games for the Jazz, averaging 10.1 points, 2.4 rebounds and 3.5 assists.In five seasons with the Lakers and Jazz, Horton-Tucker played in 247 games, averaging 9.8 points, 2.8 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 21.1 minutes per game. Horton-Tucker scored 20 points or more in 21 games and recorded a double-double in eight games.In the 2024-25 season with the Chicago Bulls, he averaged 6.5 points, 1.7 rebounds and 1.4 assists in 58 games.Despite his young age, Horton-Tucker, who played 305 games in the NBA and played at the guard position, is known as a scorer and ball handler, as well as a strong physique.
