Surprise departure at Fenerbahce Beko! Saras' assistant takes over the EuroLeague team
Tomas Masiulis, assistant to Sarunas Jasikevicius at Fenerbahce Beko, has signed a 2+1 year contract with Zalgiris Kaunas.

The Lithuanian club signed a 2+1 year contract with Tomas Masiulis, assistant to Saras Jasikevicius.
The 49-year-old experienced coach was previously Saras Jasikevicius' assistant at Zalgiris and Barcelona. Masiulis, 2.05 meters tall, played for Zalgiris from 1995 to 2002 and played a role in the 1999 EuroLeague championship.
Tomas Masiulis' departure was also announced by Fenerbahce:
"Tomas Masiulis, who has become one of the most valuable members of our technical team since he started working as an assistant coach in the 2023-24 season and has been one of the most important parts of the successes achieved in this process, has decided to continue his career in a different team and role.
