Speaking recently at the championship celebration in Bodrum, club president Dursun Özbek commented on the Nigerian striker:
"Talks are ongoing. It’s a decision he has to make—we are waiting for him. Hopefully, we’ll continue into a great season without disrupting our squad. Our goalkeeper search is also continuing. We have 4–5 alternatives. Once that’s finalized, I’ll let you know."
CONTRACT EXPIRED
Victor Osimhen, who was loaned to Galatasaray at the beginning of the season, had a contract valid until June 30. With that deal now expired, if the star striker does not reach an agreement with a new club, he will have to join Napoli’s pre-season camp.
