In the statement made by the club, 'Mr. Nevres Erol Bilecik, a member of the Board of Directors of our Company, resigned voluntarily on 16.07.2025 from his duty as a member of the Board of Directors, which he has been serving since 29.06.2018. It has been decided by the Board of Directors of our Company to accept his resignation from the Board of Directors and to appoint Mr. Acar Sertaç Komsuoğlu as a member of the Board of Directors in accordance with Article 363 of the Turkish Commercial Code No. 6102, to serve until the end of the term of office of the outgoing member and to be submitted to the approval of the first General Assembly to be held.

Erol Bilecik, who served as vice chairman in Fenerbahçe management, announced his resignation from his post with a statement he made in the previous days.
In his statement, the following statements were used;
"Due to the recent smear campaigns targeting our club through myself and my family, I had publicly announced my decision that I would not be a candidate for the Board of Directors at the extraordinary congress in September. This decision was intended to focus on my responsibilities in line with the institutionalization and sustainable growth of our Fenerbahçe. Unfortunately, I observe that the attacks against me in this process continue to occupy the agenda of our club. I strongly believe that our Fenerbahçe should focus solely on the goals of unity and success before the new season. Therefore, I respectfully inform the public that I have decided to resign from my position as a member of the Board of Directors of Fenerbahçe Sports Club as of today. Dear Fenerbahçe fans,During the years we have been in office, we have worked to establish transparency, audit and institutionalization in our governance policy, and to build a solid structure of our club with determination, especially in reducing the debt burden of our club and rebuilding its financial structure. And today, I can say with great peace of mind that the financial debt burden of our club has now reached a sustainable level. In the very near future, our President Ali Koç will give the good news to our community that we will gain our financial independence. Rest assured, this is not just a financial success; it is a rebirth for our club. We wish that the efforts made for everyone would be crowned in every sense. But we know that some struggles wait for their time; some services grow quietly. One of the greatest honors I have carried throughout my life was to be able to serve our Fenerbahce. I would like to sincerely thank everyone who trusted us, supported us, always made us feel their goodwill and sincerely criticized us. I ask for the understanding of everyone whose heart I unknowingly and unintentionally broke in the course of seven years. I would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank all members of the Board of Directors, especially our President Ali Koç, our club employees and the great Fenerbahçe Community, with whom I am very proud to have served."
