Ryan Babel warns Galatasaray against Liverpool: 'They should watch out for two footballers'

Galatasaray will face English team Liverpool in the 2nd week of the UEFA Champions League. Before the game, former player of the yellow-red team Ryan Babel made statements to TRT Spor.

Stating that the match is open to every result, Ryan Babel said, "Galatasaray is always a tough opponent because they have a very good squad and started the season very well. There was an undesirable result against Frankfurt, but the games at RAMS Park are very difficult for every opponent."

Comparing RAMS Park and Anfield, Babel said, "There are differences between their atmospheres. Both stadiums are unique. English people are definitely very passionate about football but when you see the passion of Turkish fans, you realize that no one is like them."

Ryan Babel said that Galatasaray should pay attention to Isak and Gravenberch, "I think Galatasaray should pay attention to Isak. He is not 100 percent ready yet but he is a very dangerous player. At the same time, there is a player like Gravenberch who dominates the midfield and has started the season very well. Such players are underrated because we usually talk about goal scorers but mostly midfielders control the game. Galatasaray should definitely pay attention to Gravenberch."

Babel opened a separate parenthesis for Leroy Sane: "Leroy Sane is a very talented and great footballer. His career shows us what kind of a professional he is. Maybe he needs to improve his form, but he will contribute a lot to the team. This squad is much better than the one I had when I played for Galatasaray. We were a team that was trying to improve. When you look at the squad today, we see a much more experienced and talented team. The current team is much more ready to achieve success in the league and in Europe."
