Stating that he was pessimistic from time to time, Amorim said, "I had some moments when I was very difficult and I thought maybe this was not going to happen. Today it is the opposite. Today I feel and know that this was the best decision of my life and I want to be here."
The 40-year-old coach has averaged 1.44 points in 52 official matches in charge of Manchester United, with 22 wins, nine draws and 21 defeats.
