Napoli wants to be the escape point for Jack Grealish!
Jack Grealish, seemingly out of favor with Pep Guardiola at Manchester City, has found a potential escape route via Napoli. However, the Serie A champions are also eyeing Manchester United's Alejandro Garnacho, who's facing an uncertain future at Old Trafford, as a possible alternative.

Napoli has emerged as a potential destination for Jack Grealish, offering the England winger a much-needed exit from Manchester City where his future under Pep Guardiola appears limited. Grealish's reduced playing time late last season, compounded by his omission from City's Club World Cup squad in the USA, strongly suggests he's set to depart the Etihad Stadium this summer. While no official offers have surfaced yet, a loan move currently seems the most likely option for him.

Napoli's interest and Grealish's situation
According to The Sun, Serie A champions Napoli are reportedly willing to spend around £45 million to acquire Grealish's services. The Italian club is reportedly keen on reuniting him with former City star Kevin De Bruyne, who recently signed a two-year deal with Napoli. Grealish, currently focusing on his fitness during a holiday, shared an Instagram selfie captioned, "Late night runs on holiday. Feeling good," accompanied by running and flexing emojis.
Grealish remains under contract with Manchester City until 2027, but Guardiola's recent comments hint at a potential separation. At the end of last season, the City manager stated, "Of course, Jack has to play. That's the truth. Jack is an unbelievable player that has to play football every three days. And it didn't happen this season, and last season neither. And he needs to do it with us, or another place. But that is a question for Jack, his agent, and the club." Guardiola added that if Grealish stays, "we'll be fine, and he'll fight like he fought since day one."

Garnacho emerges as an alternative
While Napoli's interest in Grealish is clear, they are also exploring other options, notably eyeing Manchester United's Alejandro Garnacho. The Argentine winger is seen as a potentially better long-term investment due to his younger age. Garnacho's future at Old Trafford appears increasingly uncertain following a very public fallout with Red Devils boss Ruben Amorim.

After Manchester United's Europa League final loss, Garnacho openly expressed his frustration: "It’s hard for everyone. The season was s, both now losing the final tonight, and in the league, where we didn’t beat anyone, that’s the truth. Up until the final, I’ve played every round, and today to play 20 minutes… I don’t know. I’m going to try to enjoy the summer and see what happens after.” Despite these comments, Amorim later suggested Garnacho still has a future at the club, stating, "No, Garnacho is a Manchester United player who is not in the squad today. But he continues to be a Manchester United player." Napoli's ultimate choice between the two Premier League wingers remains to be seen.
