French star Kylian Mbappe has left the national team camp due to a right ankle injury.

In a statement made by the French Football Federation, it was noted that 26-year-old Mbappe has inflammation in his right ankle and this requires a detailed evaluation.

Mbappe had reached 400 goals in his career, ventilating the rival nets twice in the match in which France beat Ukraine 4-0 and qualified for the FIFA 2026 World Cup.
Along with Mbappe, Eduardo Camavinga was also left out of the France national team's squad for the qualifying match against Azerbaijan on Sunday due to muscle strain.
Mbappe and Camavinga are expected to play for Real Madrid in the league match against Elche after the national break.
