Max Verstappen finished as he started in Baku! He's got the win
Red Bull's Dutch driver Max Verstappen won the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, the 17th race of the season in the Formula 1 World Championship.

The race, held at the 6-kilometer Baku City Circuit in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, was held over 51 laps.

Verstappen, who started the race from the pole position and finished in first place with a time of 1 hour 33 minutes 26 seconds, won his second consecutive race and fourth win of the season.
Mercedes driver George Russell was second, 14.609 seconds behind Verstappen, and Williams driver Carlos Sainz was third, 19.199 seconds behind the leader.
Championship leader McLaren driver Oscar Piastri, who crashed in qualifying yesterday, said goodbye to the race on the first lap after a crash at Turn 5.
The 18th race of the season, the Singapore Grand Prix, will be held on Sunday, October 5.
