Galatasaray's defeat against Frankfurt is a hot topic in Germany. Finally, former German national footballer Mario Basler made statements on this issue on the TV program where he is a commentator.

Basler claimed that Galatasaray spent 480 million and said, "Galatasaray spent 480 thousand billion this summer, but conceded five goals against Frankfurt! Money is not always decisive.
