Liverpool started the Premier League with 3 points!

English Premier League defending champions Liverpool defeated Bournemouth 4-2 in the opening match of the season.

Liverpool closed the first half 1-0 up with new signing Ekitike's goal in the 37th minute and Gakpo doubled the lead in the 49th minute.

Bournemouth equalized with Semenyo's goals in the 64th and 76th minutes, but Liverpool took a 4-2 lead with goals from Chiesa in the 88th minute and Muhammed Salah in the 90+4th minute and the match ended with this score.
