Reports on Monday had indicated that Leeds had already secured personal terms with Okafor, but a full agreement with Milan was the final hurdle. The completion of this deal represents a minor profit for the Rossoneri, who originally signed Okafor from RB Salzburg two summers ago for a fee of €15 million including bonuses.
Since his arrival at the San Siro, the 25-year-old has struggled to secure a consistent starting spot in the Milan lineup. In his first season, he made 28 Serie A appearances, with 22 of those coming off the bench. He scored six goals and provided two assists in the process.
