Pointing to the positions that took place in last week's match, Laporta said:
"Real Madrid are caught up in Barcelona paranoia. However, the referees always favor Real Madrid. Last week they scored two goals, one when Bellingham touched the ball with his arm and the other when Vinicius broke Inaki Pena's nose."
The president of the Catalan club said that such incidents undermine football's sense of justice, adding:
"These decisions overshadow the competition in La Liga. As Barcelona, we only want a fair competition. It is essential for the future of football that referees act impartially."
