Ederson's impact at City went beyond just shot-stopping. He finished his career with an impressive 122 clean sheets in 276 Premier League appearances and even registered seven assists, showcasing his unique distribution skills.

City's director of football, Hugo Viana, praised Ederson's contribution, stating, "The fact no goalkeeper has ever won more Premier League titles says everything you need to know about his quality and consistency. He has been a huge figure in all our successes."

Manchester City has already prepared for Ederson's departure by signing goalkeeper James Trafford from Burnley this summer and agreeing to a £26 million deal for Italian international Gianluigi Donnarumma from Paris Saint-Germain.
