Inter draw against Monterrey

Italian representative Inter played against Mexican team Monterrey in the first match of the Club World Cup Group E. The match played at the Rose Bowl Stadium ended in a 1-1 draw.

Monterrey, who took the lead with Sergio Ramos' goal in the 25th minute of the match, could not keep the score. Inter equalized with Lautaro Martinez's goal in the 42nd minute. Neither team could find the winning goal in the second half of the match and both sides left the field with 1 point.

Hakan Çalhanoğlu did not play for Inter due to injury.

With this result, the first week matches in Group E were completed. Argentine representative River Plate is at the top with 3 points, while Monterrey and Inter are in second and third place with 1 point each. Japan's Urawa Reds, on the other hand, did not get any points and finished in last place.
