In the second leg of the UEFA Champions League semi-final, Inter faced Barcelona in the return match of their 3-3 draw. The match, which ended 3-3 last night, went into extra time. After Inter's 4-3 victory, referee Szymon Marciniak's decisions became the main topic of discussion. Here are the details...

In the second leg of the UEFA Champions League semi-final, Inter and Barcelona faced off at San Siro. The match, which saw seven goals scored, was filled with moments that will long be remembered.

The home team finished the first 45 minutes with a 2-0 lead, thanks to goals from Lautaro Martinez and Hakan Çalhanoğlu from the penalty spot. Barcelona started the second half quickly. In the 54th minute, Eric Garcia scored, and in the 60th minute, Olmo's goal brought the score to 2-2.

In the 87th minute, Barcelona took a 3-2 lead with Raphinha's goal, but in the 90+3rd minute, Acerbi's goal for Inter once again leveled the score. The match, just like the first leg, ended 3-3 after 90 minutes.

In the 99th minute, Frattesi's goal gave Inter a 4-3 lead. As they managed to keep their goal safe in the remaining minutes, Inter secured their place in the final.

BOTH TEAMS REACTED TO MARCINIAK
The match was officiated by Polish referee Szymon Marciniak, who also refereed the most recent World Cup final. Both Inter and Barcelona were highly critical of the experienced referee and the VAR decisions.

DID MARTINEZ SPIT ON ACERBI?
During the match, off the ball, Acerbi passed by Inigo Martinez and seemed to say something. At that moment, Martinez turned and made a gesture. The Italian defender claimed that his opponent spat at him and complained to the Polish referee. However, Marciniak and the VAR team ignored the incident.

PENALTY PROTESTS
During a Barcelona attack, Acerbi tried to clear the ball from the ground in Inter's penalty area. Barcelona players protested for a handball penalty for a long time, but the referee allowed the game to continue.
