An official statement has been released by Bayern Munich regarding their German star Leroy Sane, who has been on Galatasaray’s transfer radar. Speaking about Sane’s future, club officials also dropped important hints about the potential transfer.
It had been reported that Leroy Sane, who Galatasaray is keen to add to its squad, requested a new contract with Bayern Munich that includes an annual salary of 12 million euros, a 3 million bonus, and appearance-based payments.

Contract ends
Having joined Bayern Munich in 2020, Leroy Sane’s current contract with the German giants is set to expire at the end of this season.
Official statement!
Bayern sporting director Max Eberl made the following remarks:
“Our desire is to extend Leroy’s contract, but at the same time, we’ve established certain parameters. We’ll see what happens. If it doesn’t work out, we’re prepared to move on. Leroy Sane and his agent know what we want and the terms we’ve laid out. Hopefully, he stays with us.”

Bayern CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen also commented on Sane’s future, saying:
“He’s said often enough that he wants to stay in Munich. If you’ve watched him play in recent months, you’d see he’s enjoying his football again.”
