Underlining that the game will be tough for both teams, Chedjou said: "It will be a high atmosphere as always. There is only one point between the two teams. Fenerbahçe is on a winning streak and Galatasaray is the leader. It will be very difficult for both teams."
"Fenerbahce have a slight advantage because of their form, but I still hope Galatasaray will win," said the Cameroonian stopper.
"Fenerbahce are Galatasaray's arch-rivals. Missing players won't create any extra motivation. The atmosphere of the derby, the city holding its breath for this match is enough in itself."

"I think Leroy Sane or Mario Lemina could come to the fore in this match. These two players are the ones who can increase the balance of the team." Chedjou said, "The atmosphere in Turkey is really unique. There is a big difference with France. The derbies, especially the games played in Kadıköy, were among the most difficult games of my career. This atmosphere has always motivated me. There was a position in Kadikoy where I slipped and caused a penalty, but I am happy with my overall performance. I consider myself lucky to have the chance to play in such an atmosphere."

"I've always had a lot of fun in derbies. These matches have been the most enjoyable in my career," said the Cameroonian, describing his most memorable moment in the yellow-red shirt:

"One of my most memorable moments was the Super Cup we won when I had just arrived at Galatasaray. I didn't play in that game but I was in the stands. I remember Drogba scored and I thought, "Where have I come to?" The tempo of the game, the energy of the fans... That day I realized what a great club I had come to and what a country that is passionate about football."
