Fenerbahce manager Jose Mourinho: 'My players fought very well'

Fenerbahçe, who lost the first match 2-1 in the UEFA Champions League 3rd round, defeated Feyenoord 5-2 and qualified for the play-offs.

Jose Mourinho, the manager of the Yellow-Navy Blues, made statements after the match.

"MY PLAYERS FOUGHT VERY WELL"

Mourinho said that the team fought very well and it was an emotionally intense match. We were down 3-1 in the round but the team kept their belief. They put everything we prepared on the pitch. We shouldn't have conceded the second goal, that goal increased the emotion of the match. My players fought very well. It is not easy for some players to play 90 minutes yet. Jhon Duran couldn't have done more. We have to forget about the next round and focus on the Göztepe match."

Stating that he has no thoughts of postponing the Göztepe match, the Portuguese coach continued with the following words:
