Tudor, the Croatian tactician, was appointed to replace Thiago Motta in March, and his contract was automatically extended to 2026 following Juventus's successful qualification for the Champions League. However, a clause in his contract allowed Juventus the option to terminate the agreement by paying just €1 million by July 31, 2025. This had led to prior discussions within the club regarding potential alternatives, including Antonio Conte and Gian Piero Gasperini.

Despite these earlier considerations, Comolli definitively confirmed that Tudor would remain at the helm for the upcoming season. "I can confirm Tudor will be the coach for the next campaign, beyond the Club World Cup," Comolli stated, as reported by Ilbianconero.com.

'He made exceptional work at Marseille'

Comolli brings a wealth of experience to his new role, having previously served in various capacities across football, including Chief Scout and President. His past encounters with Tudor's teams notably include the Croatian's tenure at Marseille in Ligue 1.

Recalling their previous interactions, Comolli shared, "The year Tudor was at Marseille beat us twice. We laughed about this. I told him: ‘Do you remember what I told you after those games?’ There weren’t many coaches who could keep that intensity and mental strength, and he remembered it." He further lauded Tudor's past work, emphasizing, "He made exceptional work at Marseille, their intensity and mental strength were outstanding that season.”

This confirmation from Comolli provides clarity on Juventus's coaching leadership as they prepare for the 2025-26 season and the Club World Cup, signaling a commitment to the direction set under Tudor.
