Bronze medal goes to Brazil

At the 2025 FIVB Women's Volleyball World Championship in Bangkok, Thailand, Brazil defeated Japan, coached by Turkish head coach Ferhat Akbaş, 3-2 to win the bronze medal.

While Japan reached the semifinals after 15 years in the organization, Ferhat Akbaş became the first Turkish head coach to reach the semifinals in the history of the World Championship.
