While the Spanish striker's next stop is expected to be Como, Morata said goodbye to the Yellow-Red fans and the community. Morata's insinuating words attracted attention.

Morata's farewell message is as follows;

Dear Galatasaray fans and Turkish people, I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for the love, warmth and support you have shown me. From day one you have made me feel at home and offered me one of the most extraordinary supports of my career. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same about my experience with the club. There were moments when promises and respect for fundamental values were not kept. Commitments were not fulfilled until the last moment, so much so that I had to give up part of my hard-earned salary and other contractual rights (the published figure is not correct). For me, there are certain principles, both in life and at work, that must never be violated: Respecting everyone's rights is one of them. Failure to recognize and pay what has been earned is, in my eyes, unacceptable and contrary to the values of justice and professionalism that I believe in. These issues are often not openly discussed, but I believe it is right to explain to the fans what really happened. You and the city of Istanbul will always be in my heart and I wish you all the best today and in the future. A special thanks to the manager and his wonderful team. I am sure you will continue to write Galatasaray's history. My heartfelt thanks to all my teammates and all the workers in Florya for the moments we shared. With love, Álvaro
