Cavaliers advance to conference semifinals The Cleveland Cavaliers, who finished first in the Eastern Conference, beat the 8th-seeded Miami Heat 138-83 to win the first-round series 4-0 and advance to the conference semifinals.

The Cavaliers became the second team to reach the conference semifinals after the Oklahoma City Thunder. Donovan Mitchell scored 22 points, De'Andre Hunter added 19 and Ty Jerome chipped in with 18 for the Cavaliers.

For the Heat, Nikola Jovic scored 24 points and Bam Adebayo added 13, but it wasn't enough to prevent defeat. The winner of the Indiana Pacers and Milwaukee Bucks (3-1) will face the Cavaliers in the Eastern Conference semifinals.
