Al Hilal, which recently lost its Saudi Pro League title to Al Ittihad, is actively looking to strengthen its squad. Masuaku's arrival could provide a valuable addition, given his offensive contributions from the left flank; this past season, he provided 10 assists and scored one goal in 47 appearances across all competitions for Besiktas. As a free agent, negotiations with Masuaku will primarily center on his salary expectations, according to Africanfoot sources.
During his two seasons with Besiktas, Arthur Masuaku earned an annual salary of €2.4 million (excluding bonuses). It is anticipated that Al Hilal will offer a significantly higher sum to secure the services of the experienced DR Congo international, who boasts 27 caps and 3 goals for his national team. Capable of playing as a left midfielder as well as a left-back, Masuaku is also reportedly attracting attention from Turkish giants Galatasaray and fellow Saudi club Al Ahli FC, both of whom are looking for defensive reinforcements this summer.
