Pulisic doubled the lead in the 20th minute, showing composure to round the goalkeeper and finish from a tight angle to put the United States up 2-0. Senegal captain Sadio Mane reduced the deficit just before halftime, finishing off a quick counter-attack after Habib Diarra's through ball split the American defense.
Folarin Balogun had an early second-half goal ruled out for offside, shortly before Mane capitalized on a defensive error to equalize for Senegal in the 52nd minute. The AS Monaco striker secured the win just past the hour mark, as Balogun met a cross from Tim Weah to restore the lead and seal the victory for Mauricio Pochettino's side.
The United States will co-host the World Cup alongside Canada and Mexico, and they have one final warm-up match scheduled against Germany on Saturday before opening Group D play against Paraguay on June 12. Senegal will launch their World Cup campaign in Group I against France on June 16, where the African nation is also scheduled to face Iraq and Norway in group play.
