Manuel Neuer criticized Bayern’s lack of "killer instinct," noting that while they created opportunities, they were not clinical enough in the penalty area. Bayern fell behind after just three minutes in the second leg, forcing the German side to play catch-up for the remainder of the contest. Harry Kane scored a late equalizer in stoppage time, but the goal arrived too late to save Bayern's Champions League campaign.
Coach Vincent Kompany described the exit as "bitter," acknowledging that his team needed to be more decisive against a very good opponent. PSG’s clinical performance in the first leg proved to be the difference, having scored five goals in a 5-4 victory in Paris.
The result marks a disappointing finish for Bayern, who dominated possession in the second leg but failed to convert control into clear-cut chances.
