Last week, LIV Golf laid off most of its workforce while searching for new funding. The league has reportedly offered settlements to players owed guaranteed contracts worth millions, with offers totaling only a few cents on the dollar. Since launching in 2022, PIF has invested more than $5 billion into LIV Golf.
The bankruptcy filing is reportedly expected to take place in New Jersey federal court. Neither LIV Golf nor the PIF has officially commented on the report.
