Illinois secured a convincing 71-51 victory over the Indiana Hoosiers at the State Farm Center. Boswell, playing with a heavily taped right hand, contributed 9 points and 7 rebounds. His presence provided a massive defensive spark, helping snap a two-game losing skid. Freshman forward David Mirkovic was the star of the night, scoring a game-high 25 points.
Mirkovic’s inside-out game proved impossible for the Hoosiers' defense to contain. Keaton Wagler added 18 points, marking his 18th consecutive double-digit scoring game. The Illini defense was relentless, holding Indiana to just 20 points in the second half. With this win, Illinois moves to 21-5 and stays alive in the hunt for the Big Ten title.
