Australia face Argentina in the second Test on Friday in Mendoza

Coach Les Kiss called the second Test “scary,” remembering Australia’s 67–27 loss in the 2024 rematch.

Kiss praised Argentina’s powerful forwards, saying they punish every mistake. Australia have made several lineup changes to keep the squad fresh before facing South Africa and New Zealand.

Ben Donaldson starts at fly-half for the first time this year, replacing Carter Gordon. Len Ikitau and Joseph Suaalii form a new midfield partnership, while Filipo Daugunu comes in on the left wing.

Regular captain Harry Wilson returns to the starting back row, with Rob Valetini shifting to blindside flanker. Kiss says Australia’s backs are still searching for their best attacking rhythm, while the forwards have carried the team so far.
