The Super Eagles, featuring Victor Osimhen from Galatasaray and Wilfried Ndidi from Beşiktaş, gathered in Nigeria and then traveled to Morocco, where the match will be played on neutral ground. However, the Nigerian team faced a huge surprise upon arrival.
Yesterday evening, the Nigerian players decided to boycott the training session in Morocco due to the fact that they have not received their bonuses for the past two years.
In response, the Nigerian Football Federation quickly intervened and held a meeting with the players. However, the players did not reach an agreement with the federation.
