Van der Vaart slams Vinicius Junior: 'I hate watching him'

Rafael van der Vaart, one of the legendary names of Dutch football, made harsh criticisms about Real Madrid star Vinicius Junior after Bayern Munich's 2-1 win over Real Madrid in the Champions League.

Van der Vaart said that although he respected the young star's talent on the pitch, some of his behavior during the match spoiled the enjoyment of the game.

"I hate watching Vinicius Junior, it's really sad because he's a great player. But even with the slightest push, he throws himself to the ground. This attitude he shows on the pitch casts a shadow on his talent." Van der Vaart criticized the player's style, implying that it was unprofessional.

"He writhes on the ground like he's in pain while waiting for a card, but a second later he gets up and keeps running as if nothing had happened! This kind of behavior is against the spirit of football, " Van der Vaart concluded.
