Turkish National Team squad announced! Here are the names going to the World Cup

The final squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which will be co-hosted by the USA, Canada and Mexico between June 11 and July 19, has been announced.

The 26-man squad named by Turkish National Team Manager Vincenzo Montella includes the following players

GOALIES Fehmi Mert Günok, Uğurcan Çakır, Altay Bayındır

DEFENSE: Abdülkerim Bardakcı, Çağlar Söyüncü, Eren Elmalı, Ferdi Kadıoğlu, Merih Demiral, Mert Müldür, Ozan Kabak, Samet Akaydin, Zeki Çelik

MIDFIELD Hakan Çalhanoğlu, İsmail Yüksek, Kaan Ayhan, Orkun Kökçü, Salih Özcan

OFFENSIVE Arda Güler, Barış Alper Yılmaz, Can Uzun, Deniz Gül, İrfan Can Kahveci, Kenan Yıldız, Kerem Aktürkoğlu, Oğuz Aydın, Yunus Akgün

Here are the names left out of the squad;

Ersin Destanoğlu, Ahmetcan Kaplan, Mustafa Eskihellaç, Yusuf Akçiçek, Atakan Karazor, Yusuf Sarı.

3 MORE PLAYERS WILL BE TAKEN TO THE USA

Muhammed Şengezer, Aral Şimşir and Demir Ege Tıknaz, who were not included in the final 26-man squad of the A National Team, will be part of the squad that will travel to the USA on standby as World Cup regulations allow for substitutions in case of injury before the teams' first matches (for goalkeepers throughout the tournament).

Our National Team will travel to Fort Lauderdale, USA with a Turkish Airlines flight at 13.30 today.

The 2026 World Cup hosts, USA, Australia and Paraguay are in Group D and will play their last match against Venezuela on June 7 in Fort Lauderdale, USA as part of their preparations for the tournament.
