Nicolo Zaniolo, who spent last season on loan at Udinese, was transferred permanently after the season ended. Despite this, the star player, dissatisfied with his salary, had stopped participating in training sessions with the Italian club.

Despite Udinese’s offer of 1.3 million euros, Zaniolo, who was seeking a salary of 1.8 million euros, had also begun negotiations with other clubs. An agreement was finally reached in the latest round of talks. Udinese and Zaniolo have agreed to a contract running through 2029. Under the new contract, the 27-year-old player will earn 1.8 million euros.

Zaniolo’s contract will also include a one-year extension option. An official announcement is expected shortly.
