In a statement released by Udinese, the club announced that it had signed a long-term contract with the 26-year-old player, valid through 2029. This officially marks the end of Zaniolo’s career at Galatasaray.
According to information reported by Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, Udinese will pay Galatasaray a transfer fee of 5 million euros as part of the deal. It was also noted that the Yellow-Red club will retain the right to a 50% share of any future sale of the player.
Zaniolo, who delivered a consistent performance in an Udinese jersey last season, contributed 6 goals and 6 assists across 34 matches in all competitions. It was stated that following the Italian star’s performance, Udinese’s management decided to exercise the purchase option.
