According to a statement from the Turkish Volleyball Federation, the Turkish national team—which finished the regular season in 4th place with 9 wins and 3 losses to advance to the finals—will face Canada in the quarterfinals on Thursday, July 23, at 11:00 a.m. local time.
The national team’s roster for the final stage, to be held in the Macau Special Administrative Region of China, is as follows:
Setter: Cansu Özbay, Dilay Özdemir, Elif Şahin
Opposite Hitter: Defne Başyolcu, Melissa Vargas
Outside Hitters: Hande Baladın, İlkin Aydın, Saliha Şahin, Yaprak Erkek
Middle blockers: Berka Buse Özden, Deniz Uyanık, Sinead Jack Kısal, Zehra Güneş
