Technical director statement from Fenerbahçe presidential candidate Aziz Yıldırım: 'We are still discussing'

Aziz Yıldırım, who announced his candidacy for Fenerbahçe's extraordinary general assembly to be held on June 6-7, made important statements in a program he attended.

"WE WILL BE DISCHARGED"

Stating that the administrations of Ali Koç and Sadettin Saran should be released, Aziz Yıldırım said, "Let's not create a new incident and controversy for Fenerbahçe. On behalf of myself, I recommend that the Ali Koç and Sadettin Saran administrations be released. We will release both terms. Fenerbahçe will continue on its path in unity and solidarity."

Speaking about the board of directors, Aziz Yıldırım continued with the following words:

"We want to come to stop a 12-year course. While doing this, some of them will be old friends, most of them will be new. We will introduce them to the press on Friday. Everything is in place for us to be champions, we have a good team, we need reinforcements! We are lucky that our best players are not going to the World Cup."

"WE ARE STILL DISCUSSING"

Stating that they are still discussing about the technical director, Aziz Yıldırım said, "We are still discussing about a local or foreign coach. Maybe we will announce it next week or at the congress. But know that we will have Turkish former players in the background."

Stating that they do not want to sell the land they own, Aziz Yıldırım continued with the following words:

"We will make investments, we will buy land. I will cancel the decision taken at the congress and I will take the authority from the management and give it to the congress. It can only be sold if the congress wants it. I will put a condition that the new lands we will buy can be sold after 20-30 years."

Finally, speaking about the center forward transfer, Aziz Yıldırım concluded his sentences with the following words:

"I will be in Istanbul around 2-3 tonight and we will have a meeting about the center forward at that time!"
