National basketball player Tarık Biberovic has officially joined the Dallas Mavericks. The NBA Western Conference team announced that it has signed the 25-year-old forward to a two-year contract worth a total of $6 million.

The Texas-based team introduced Tarık with the following statement:
"Biberovic has been recognized as one of Europe’s most sought-after players over the past few seasons. He has played for Fenerbahçe Beko for the past seven years, competing in both the Turkish Basketball Super League and the EuroLeague. Biberovic helped the club win its second EuroLeague championship in Abu Dhabi in 2025 and, more recently, scored 26 points by making six of eight three-pointers in a playoff game against Zalgiris in April. Fenerbahçe also won four Turkish Super League championships with Tarık."
