Spurs beat the Thunder in the first game
In the NBA, the San Antonio Spurs defeated the Oklahoma City Thunder 122-115 in overtime in the first game of the Western Conference finals.
Victor Wembanyama led the Spurs with 41 points and 24 rebounds, while Dylan Harper had 24 points and 11 rebounds and left with a playoff club record seven steals in the game at Paycom Center.

Wembanyama (22 years, 134 days) became the youngest player to score 40 points and grab 20 rebounds in a playoff game. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar had previously accomplished the feat in the 1970 NBA Finals at the age of 22 years and 343 days.
Alex Caruso came off the bench to score 31 points for the Thunder, while Jalen Williams had 26 points and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, who was named the regular season MVP before the game, had 24 points and 12 assists.
The Thunder's 9-game playoff winning streak since last season's Finals ended with this result, while the Spurs took home court advantage.
The second game of the matchup will be played on Thursday, May 21, also in Oklahoma City.
