HE GOT THE SCORING STARTING

Paul Onuachu, who appeared in 36 matches for the Bordo-Mavili last season, managed to find the back of the net 26 times. The veteran player, however, had started this season below expectations. Onuachu, who had gone scoreless in the Ferencvaros matches in Europe and against Kasımpaşa, Başakşehir, and Amed in the league, found his form last night. The Nigerian first found the back of the net in the 5th minute, opening the scoring.

INJURED

Nine minutes later, the 32-year-old center forward stepped up to take a penalty but ceded the shot to Mohamed Salah. Onuachu took center stage once again in the 22nd minute, scoring his team’s third goal. Earning applause for his determined performance, Onuachu offered glimpses of his former self. However, the star player then suffered an unfortunate setback. Due to his injury, Onuachu was forced to give way to Dju in the 44th minute. The veteran player’s condition will be determined following further examinations.
