The statement made by Trabzonspor is as follows:
"Our Health Committee Chairman Prof. Dr. Ahmet Beşir made a statement regarding the health status of our footballer Paul Onuachu.
Beşir said, "As a result of the first evaluation of our player Paul Onuachu, who felt pain and stiffness in the anterior upper muscle group of the left thigh during the training of our team today, he was removed from the Corendon Alanyaspor match squad considering muscle injury. The treatment of our player has started by our medical team."
