None of these stars are in the 2026 FIFA World Cup!

While the 48 teams that will compete in the 2026 FIFA World Cup to be organized by the USA, Mexico and Canada have been announced, the star players of the countries that will not take part in the tournament will not be able to appear in the organization.

Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen is among the star players who will not be able to take part in the tournament due to his country Nigeria's failure to qualify for the World Cup.

Poland's Robert Lewandowski, one of the best strikers of recent years, is among the star strikers who will not play in the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

- Victor Osimhen (Galatasaray and Nigeria)

Nigeria, which also has Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen in its squad, lost its chance to qualify for the World Cup after losing to the Democratic Republic of Congo on penalties despite having a second chance in the play-off after the World Cup Africa Qualifiers.

The 27-year-old striker has scored 19 goals in 29 appearances for Galatasaray this season, including 7 in the UEFA Champions League and 12 in the Super Lig.

- Robert Lewandowski (Barcelona and Poland)

Poland's Robert Lewandowski is among the players who will not be able to play in the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Despite scoring 89 goals for his country, the 37-year-old Barcelona striker's World Cup dream came to an end last Tuesday after a 3-2 defeat in the play-off final against Sweden.

Lewandowski, who won the Bundesliga title twice with Borussia Dortmund and then eight seasons in a row with Bayern Munich before winning the LaLiga title twice with Barcelona, may have closed the World Cup book as he will be 41 years old at the World Cup in 2030.

- Gianluigi Donnarumma (Manchester City and Italy)

Italian goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma moved to Premier League side Manchester City last September after helping French club Paris Saint-Germain win the UEFA Champions League last season.

Donnarumma, who was named the tournament's best goalkeeper after Italy won the 2020 European Championship, missed out on the World Cup once again last Tuesday when his country lost 4-1 on penalties to Bosnia-Herzegovina.

- Dominik Szoboszlai (Liverpool and Hungary)

Liverpool and Hungary national team midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai has performed well this season.

Szoboszlai will also miss the World Cup due to Hungary's failure to qualify for Europe.

- Khvicha Kvaratskhelia (PSG and Georgia)

Georgian footballer Khvicha Kvaratskhelia helped Paris Saint-Germain to the UEFA Champions League title last season, scoring a goal in their 5-0 final win over Inter.

However, Georgia fared poorly in World Cup qualifying, collecting just three points in a group that included Spain, Turkey and Bulgaria.

- Serhou Guirassy (Borussia Dortmund and Guinea)

Serhou Guirassy has established himself as one of the most prolific strikers in world football, scoring 62 goals in the German Bundesliga in the last three seasons. Guirassy was the top scorer in the UEFA Champions League 2024-2025 season, finding the net 13 times.

Guirassy will miss the 2026 FIFA World Cup after his country Guinea was eliminated in the first round of African qualifying.

- Lookman, Oblak, Barella, Tonali and others

Among the players who did not take part in the World Cup are goalkeeper Jan Oblak (Atletico Madrid and Slovenia), attacker Ademola Lookman (Atletico Madrid and Nigeria), left back Milos Kerkez (Liverpool and Hungary), stopper Nikola Milenkovic (Nottingham Forest and Serbia), defender Willi Orban (Leipzig and Hungary), right back Ola Aina (Nottingham Forest and Nigeria), midfielders Sandro Tonali (Newcastle United and Italy), Nicolo Barella (Inter and Italy) and winger Bryan Mbeumo (Manchester United and Cameroon).
